ABUNDANCE NOT SCARCITY By Jay Becker

We are to move from the darkness to the light, move from fear into love, and
live in the abundance and victory of Christ.

So many hold on to their hurt and they walking through life with a chip on
their shoulder. Yes, hurting people say and do hurtful things.
Let's help
them discover the wonder of falling in love with Jesus; being forgiven, living
free, and learning to focus on the abundance of love and grace - instead of
living like God's love is a rare commodity.

There is no limit to His love, His loves overflows.

God's love is abundant and His grace is without measure - He gives freely
and continually.

Living in love, not in fear

Perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18)

As we lift up the light, the darkness must flee. We are to walk in the light, we
are children of the light.
Ps 18:28; Ps 112:4; Luke 1:79; John 12:46; Act 26:18; 2 Cor 4:6; Eph 5:8

We do not need to live under the pressure to perform perfectly, or condemn
ourselves because we do not act or think or pray with perfect obedience.
There is no condemnation! Rom 8:1

It is God's Spirit that works in us (Col 1:29), it is His power that fills us (Acts
1:8) - His power and love are in us already (Eph 3:15-21), and nothing can
separate us from the love of God (Rom 8:38-39)

Rom 6:5-8
5 we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as
he was. 6 We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so
that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. 7
For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. 8 And
since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him.

God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness (1 Pet 1:3)

We do not need to cry out for what He has already given us - we have the
fullness of God in Christ Jesus in us already!

His ways and His thoughts are higher than ours (Is 55:8-9)

We don't battle or war in our own strength, we stand in His complete victory,
we do not battle against flesh and blood - it is not a struggle or something
to strive in - rather He makes us more than overcomers, He always leads us
to triumph (2 Cor 2:14)

Eph 6:10-18; the battle is not in the flesh; it is not about our strength or
might, it is about the power and the victory of Christ, what He has already
accomplished!

Col 2:13-15
13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your
flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all
trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was
against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way,
having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers,
He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Psalm 23 - He is with us in all our struggles, we do not need to fear, He
protects, provides for us and anoints us - and all of this in the presence of
our enemies.

Rom 8:31
...If God is for us, who can be against us

1 John 4:4
...He who is in you in greater than he who is in the world

Christ fills all and is in all - He is supreme and preeminent.
